1991 Topps Superstar Stand-Ups was released as a test run product. Each factory sealed pack has one candy-filled container displaying a veteran player (on the front) from 1991. (No Chipper Jones, unfortunately.) The back of each container displays an image of a baseball with an overview of the player. The checklist features 36 total players (18 players from each MLB league). The National League players appear on green plastic candy containers, while the American League players are on red candy containers. There are also clear dispensers dubbed as variations (randomly inserted).
